All of the above the drama was a power pack with thriller, romance, revenge and mostly loved for its parallel universe and time travelling theory. Here is the sum up story of The King till now.

Before you go into the story lets us understand the theories of parallel universe shown in The King,

Parallel Universe :

Well, there are two different worlds in The King. These two worlds were the same for each other and the same people living different lives! Republic of Corea - the universe where there is a constitutional monarchy when Lee Min-ho presents Emperor Lee Gon, The King Of republic of corea.

Republic of Korea - another universe similar to modern Korea where Kim Go-eun portrayed Detective Jeong Tae-eul.

Lee Gon's uncle, Lee Lim, killed Lee Gon's father because he wanted to own a magical wizard, also
called Manpasikjeok, with supernatural powers. Lee Gon, 8 years old, saw  that his father was killed and break flute in half while saving his father from Lee Lim. Lee Lim once again tried to kill Lee Gon, but thankfully, the mysterious person saves young Lee Gon (still guessing who this man is!) ,At the time, the mysterious savior has left Jeong Tae-eul's badge, which was carefully kept with Lee Gon.Unfortunately, Lee Lim left a scar on Lee Gon's neck while taking back the broken flute.

Lee Lim escapes with one piece of magical pipes and discovers the paralle universe. Lee Gon has been holding on to what his assistant left behind and is trying to find the man. Lee Lim, discovers that his family in the Korean Empire is like this world, which is why he pretends this version in the Republic of Korea. He killed the whole family, left Lee Gon's mother's colleague alive, and sent his colleague to the Korean Empire to make people think he was dead.

                                               25 Years After

Lee Gon is now the monarch of the Korean Empire and eventually secures access to the universal site associated with his part of the magic pipe. From what we have seen, the site passes through a bamboo forest. Is there another way inside and out? We are waiting to find out!

As he arrived in the Republic of Korea, he then realized that the world was very different. You have also learned that there is a different life in each world. Since Lee Gon already knew who Jeong Tae-eul was, he was so excited when they finally met! Of course, their first meeting was not as exciting as they thought it would be.
Yeong Tae-eul thinks he is mad because he claims to be a foreign king. I can't believe her, but if someone has real diamonds like their buttons, you should think twice! However, Yeong Tae-eul begins to believe when he takes him to the Korean Empire and sees everything. He also begins to develop romantic feelings with her (well, who can't, right?). Finally, romance is waiting! While their romance continues, we must not forget about Lee Lim! It is revealed that he has created his army and lends people to his side by giving them the opportunity to live a better life. The problem is: they have to kill and use their similar and live their lives.
I don't think how many people changed over the years! And, thanks to the magic pipe, he's never grown!
Lee Gon didn't know about this. Ever since he thought Lee Lim might be alive again in the Republic of korea , he has been spending his time searching for the old man. ICYMI, Lee Gon and Lee Lim finally meet in episode 9! It was a happy atmosphere. Since we already know that Lee Lim has been making a comeback and building up his troops, Lee Gon must have his own fighting team! As a case investigator, Jeong Tae-eul was investigating a mysterious murder scene. Slowly connects this to Lee Lim. Lee Gon and Yeong Tae-eul work together to protect the people of the world while they love each other beautifully.

It is straightforward when it was revealed that Kang Sin-jae is from the Korean Empire. He was changed at a very young age and Lee Lim's reason for this is still unclear. Are you on Lee Gon's side? Luna (Kingdom of Corea) In a recent article, it is revealed that Luna is not her real name, but that of a cat. His story hasn't been launched yet and we don't know if Lee Gon can trust him. Something to look forward to!

                      Time Travel Begins

Episode 14 begins with Sin-jae getting a call from Tae-eul - getting Kon Eun-a in the fridge. But she found a shocking discovery - she found her own way into the breathing machine. At that moment, Luna holds Lee Gon down but he is still alive and tells her he has no whip. Jo Yeong comes in and sees Lee Gon on the floor and rushes to her. The king tells Jo Yeong to get the whip first; Jo Yeong complains about Tae-eul and tells her that Lee Gon is poisoned. Jo Yeong rushes her to the hospital as an unregistered patient. Tae-eul arrives at the hospital and they find that Lee Gon can be saved. Jo Yeong tells Tae-eul that the person who poisoned Lee Gon looked like him.

Lee Gon wakes up and his first concern is Tae-eul. Jo Yeong insists that she must return to the palace as she cannot protect her from this world. Lee Gon tells Jo Yeong that he was the one who saved himself the night of the uprising. He tells Jo Yeong that he would like to have a drink. Lee Gon heads to the site and travels at the same time with Lee Lim. Both of them are standing in the center. They both get along and start running.
The little boy explains that when Manpasikjeok becomes one inside the gate, both axes of time and space are simultaneously inside the gate. When Manpasiljeok is complete, it takes you to the point where you wish to save yourself. Both the king and the prince who were to leave were taken to the same place at the time - "Rebel's night". The king wished to save both land to the merchant, and the attacker wished to save himself from the failure of the trial. The King: The Eternal Monarch episode offers multiple layers to a complex narrative.

In the next episode, Lee Lim tells his younger self that his coup will fail and reveals that "I am" from 2020. Lee Limana recognizes that another world must exist. An elderly Lee Limon tells himself to kill the crown prince; if his past disappears, his future will be gone - "Get Manpasiljeok". Young Lee Lim realizes that his old self has failed to kill him - "I will blame the procedure, not you". Young Lee Lim takes part of Manpasiljeok and it breaks in his hand.
The little boy then points out that Manpasikjeok is powerless when he is bowled. We see this protest again and Lee Gon killing the invaders. Little Lee Gon is saved - as Lee Gon goes, Tae-eul's identity goes down. Lee Gon sees Lady Noh and says she owes him a lot and he followed his advice to follow his fate. Lee Gon asks Lady Noh if she can go; he runs to tell the guards where they are fleeing. On his way out, Lee Gon puts his gun to Lee Seung-heon's head - the freed passenger Lee Lim.

Jo Yeong leaves Tae-eul a message from Lee Gon apologizing for leaving without saying goodbye. You are worried and you fall down; the stress of the situation has come to her and she knows that the chances of seeing her and diminishing the extra time leave us.

Sin-jae visits her father in jail and asks him if he has turned Kang Hyeon-min into Kang Sin-jae because Lee Lim needed a child and independent care center. His father explains that they have been told that Sin-jae will not wake up and that his wife is very upset - Lee Lim showed them a picture of Kang Hyeon-min and said he would give Sin-jae another place if they would sell him a child care center.

                                Time Travel Problems

King: An episode of Eternal Monarch throws the audience into an interactive timeline. Lee Gon heads back through the portal; The time has finally come and it's December 20, 1994. He realizes that the time axis can only be formed when Manpasikjeok is perfect - for only part of it, he can travel later. He will have to cross the age of 26 to reach 2020, which would be four months inside a separate gate. Lee Gon remembers that his version lives on this earth; yells at police and counts Lee Seong-jae, Lee Eun-ho, Lee Ji-hun, Ling Jeong-hye; he asks them to find that family and reveals that they would all die without Song Jeong-hye; you find out they have died - "It is done".

Lee Gon meets five-year-old Tae-eul and tells him that he's from another time - "I'll be here soon". Young Tae-eul blames Lee Gon for kidnapping and Lee Gon laughing, realizing that his personality hasn't changed.

In the modern era, the forensics team receives a recording of an old report - by Lee Gon from 1994 and they play for Tae-eul: "This brother is a suspect in the death of that family". Suddenly Tae-eul remembers Lee Gon visiting him when he was five - the year the devastation took place. It suddenly appears to Tae-eul, that Lee Gon is gone now. She collapses, not knowing what to expect.

Sin-jae accompanies another person instead of an ambulance. You wish to reach the bottom of it all. She then meets with Tae-eul to look up to Yoo Jo-yeol who used to give money to the director of the childcare center. Teams head to Long Jeong-hye's apartment and smell the electricity and the group runs out of the building as the house arrives.

This is where The King: The Eternal Monarch Episode becomes more complex; Tae-eul heads for a bamboo forest and remembers a time when Lee Gon rode his horse toward him.

Then, in another timeline, while having dinner with his colleagues, Tae-eul sees Lee Gon outside and tells him he has seen her since he was 5 - he wants to look at his identity document. Lee Gon puts a tie on his hair and says he doesn't have an ID. Expressing him is upset that he does not see her and that they pass at different times - he promises to meet again in 2020 at Gwanghwamun. Lee Gon says goodbye to him and goes. Lee Gon is battling two worlds, two dates of time, trying desperately to return to 2020.

In another timeline, Tae-eul knows that Lee Gon met him in 2016 as he left the day in the box office. Lee Gon asks Tae-eul to wait for him for a while. The longing for each other is emotional - it obviously sounds like an eternity.
Then we get back to the race track from the first two articles and Lee Gon tells Jo Yeong that he will end up in the Republic of Korea and should get Long Heong-hye - "I think that's what you wanted to talk about over drinks." It's all starting to come together and make sense.
By 2020, Eun-sup is tracking Luna. Tae-eul is angry that he has taken his place. They meet on the street and Luna stabs him instantly without mercy. Luna gossips how she missed something every day. Tae-eul struggles on the floor and cries out for the police asking for support. As he loses blood, in another timeline, Lee Gon gets off his horse and meets Tae-eul at Gwanghwamun as he promised in 2016. In this present moment, Tae-eul cries as she fears for her life, telling another Tae-eul to hold on to Lee Gon, tears running down her. In another timeline, Lee Gon is confused as to why Tae-eul knows him - Tae-eul recounts that fate is not a coincidence and he kisses her.

Episode 15

Episode 15 of The King: Eternal King begins during the first transformed meeting with Tae-Eul as he throws his arms around Lee-Gon. As he did, we reduced the time to see Tae-Eul bleeding after being stabbed by Luna. His father calls but before he can speak too much, he goes out.

It was then that Shin-Jae's teams met with Eun-Sup in pursuit of Jeong-Hye. Before she can do this, the phone rings and Shin-Jae (who is Hyeon-Min remember) is brought in before Lee Lim and is told that both mothers are resting on her next decision. He is tasked with delivering Lee Gon's whip and as we see in the past, Lee Lim went to Hyeon-Min's mother and promised her a new life. Holding on to young Hyeon-Min, he sadly agrees to follow what follows in the story.

Back in the not-too-distant past, Lee Lim receives a palm-reading from Na-Ri that involves being stabbed in the neck. Of course, he still has this prophecy as he announces that he himself was involved in the act. Ironically, his action brings a little remorse to his voice. Eun-Sup then appears and quickly recognizes Lee Lim, protecting Na-Ri until she leaves. When he does, Eun-Sup quickly escapes to Luna. Tae-Eul jumps into her house alive and with her, finally kidnapping Luna. Here they learn that Luna has cancer and will die soon.
As they talk together, time is cold and Lee Gon returns to Korea and begins his quest for Tae-Eul. At the station, time draws first for Jang-Michael and others. Finally you realize you are back in 2020 and you find Tae-Eul. Finally they close each other as tears ran down her face. Lee Gon promises not to leave and here is Tae-Eul describing what happened in the past. Time has changed but to some extent.

Tae-Eul went to his world earlier in the timeline, accepting the fate and what was to happen. As Lee Gon listens, he realizes that there is no way for him to change his future so easily. Only, the future has changed a bit. Shin-Jae now seems compelled to work with Lee Lim and as Lee Gon jumps in, Shin-Jae tells her he wants her life. However, Ji-Hun's mother (another Korean made by Gon) passes away and Lee Gon promises to help. "I'm not your mother," he said and left. This will probably contribute eventually. Lee-Gon finally discovers what he needs to do and decides to try to rewrite history. Just before he leaves, he promises to return to Tae-Eul in the future.

While Tae-Eul and Lee-Gon spend the day together and do their best, Jo-Young and Eun-Sup say goodbye to each other, eventually persuading Jo-Young to come back to her in the future. It’s a fiery line and something incredibly moving.

At that moment, Lee Lim meets Koo and tells him that he will never be Queen. Instead, he decides he wants a flute and will take it from him. She holds her throat and gives her one way out of this for a living - bringing her to the memory of Lee Gon's mother. Only, time is running in the middle of the interrogation and Lee Lim realizes that his nephew is now gone.

Secretary Mo informs Lee Gon about Seung-Heun and now realizing his part in all of this, he stops the man on the road and throws a bullet, the very bullet that shot him in the leg. After knocking him down, Lee Gon walks away. Shin-Jae also finds herself face-to-face with her Mom and finally talks her mind about what happened in the past. “I want to wake up from this bad dream,” she says with a sarcastic smile and walks away. it looks like Shin-Jae has finally made peace with what happened in the past. Afterwards he sat down with Lee Gon and they drank together, and Shin-Jae thanked him for giving this kindness.

At the time, Lee Lim was poisoned by Yeong-Hye after he hurt himself but before the drug was released, time was cold again. Meanwhile, Lee Lim makes a bold decision and appears with her on the flank as Lee Gon quickly approaches. Though he "passed away in death", Lee Gon still finds a way to meet him but Lee Lim understands what has happened and tells his nephew's time that he won't be gone for some time because of what he has done. Seeing the world go wrong because of the inconvenience and use of Lee Lim's flute, the timing disappears as Shin-Jae and Jo-Young both meet and help catch Le Lim, placing him in custody.

Taking the other end of the cave, the trio head to the bamboo forest where Lee Gon grabs both sides of the pipe and enters the country in the middle of the country. There, he finds himself on the beach and wonders how far he has to go.

Back in Korea, Lee Gon orders that Se-Jin be made King when he is absent but unfortunately Lee Lim is one step further and a shocking car accident causes serious consequences for Koo. She recognizes what this means and immediately calls and asks her mother what she is eating. When he doesn't turn on the mackerel, Koo realizes that his action caused his real mother to die and for him, another version has passed.

Back in Korea, Tae-Eul meets with Lee Lim and asks him where the pipe is. Of course, this scene of him questioning him at the police station is what we saw back in the early hours of the show and it makes more sense to the situation now.

Tae-Eul frees Luna from her ban and works for her to protect her Father and her family in her absence. By allowing Luna this kindness, she seizes the opportunity to take on the role while our heroine leader heads to the parking lot and asks for a call from Shin-Jae. He admits to having feelings for her but not enough to change how he feels about Lee Gon. With Shin-Jae standing and looking down, Leon Gon realizes that the choice he has made leads only to one path. She talks to Ok-Nam and asks him to do her a favor - to let her go and change things forever. When the episode ends, you run the parade again, where the episode ends.

Given what we've seen here, it looks like we're getting ready to reset the time. Lee Gon will change the fate that seems to save his other way as a remedy for all the evil created by both the timeline and the world. Both Korea and Korea will be back to what they were before all this happened and it is likely that we will get the last kiss with the end of Tae-Eul and Lee-Gon who have never met but both are likely to be happy in their respective countries. All of this may be completely wrong, but that's my opinion of how the game will play out - feel free to comment below for your comments even though we love reading it!

Eun-Sup's kiss with Jo-Young is certainly one of the highlights of this episode and the beautiful way this plays strikes me at home what this world has to offer in both characters. At the same time, Tae-Eul and Luna understood the connection and it looked like Luna could just taste one of the family moments she so desired.

Given the issues over time in the last episode, it's nice to see The King: The Eternal Monarch goes some way to explaining the difference of time and while it's not perfect and can easily be chosen without a bunch of different angles, it's good enough for a fun watch though.

How the ending will end remains to be seen but one thing is for sure - you won't want to miss Friday's episode!
